On the south face of Annapurna, at a height of 7,400 metres, a climber starts to feel poorly. His companion raises the alarm and launches one of the greatest rescue attempts in the history of the Himalaya mountain range. The Annapurna summit is considered to be one of the most dangerous in the world. Around 41% of those who try to climb it die in the attempt. Rescues above 7,400 metres are generally impossible, because helicopters are unable to fly at such a height, and very few people are able to support the altitude. This film is a detailed reconstruction of a rescue operation lasting for four days that involved some of the best mountain climbers in the world, each with a very interesting personality.
